I found myself just staring at the puzzle cause I'm so sleepy.. it goes from 12 men to 13. But is there a riddle behind it or anything?

Ha, sidwasinnocent, i remember him so well. him and i went at it a few times. all he could do was curse and swear at you when there was a disagreement. he wasnt a teenager either wich surprised me. he was in his mid to late 20's. he loved the smut peddlers. I was wondering myself where he was at and if he was using another screenname on here.
I remember back in the day on the official website messageboard like 5 years ago. that place was a very cool place to hang out.
Good old sidwasinnocent. On occassion we actually verged on real debate about some geek stuff. Though not dumb, quite arrogent. If you didn't live and weren't educated in the northeast corridor or southern california you were pretty much dismissed as an idoit. And, if someone disagreed with you, just go for the school yard taunts.
Sigh.. I guess since I live in the south and don't have a fashion-model figure I should just go crawl under a rock. Or at least sid would think I should.
I just spent the last 20 minutes staring at the puzzle in 774123's posts and i have to say I am absolutely dumbfounded. I must be a complete idiot or something. It has something to do with the guy on the far left having a full head and then when they switch, he only has a partial head. I dont know. I have to say im absolutely facsinated. thanks for messing up my day. I will stare at this for hours until i figure it out.

ok, i have it figured out now. When the switch is made when the bigger half moves to the left, it leaves two guys incomplete on the left hand side. (one guy is missing part of his head and another guy is missing part of his shoes) when the switch is made in the other direction, it leaves nobody incomplete.
when everyone is complete, it is a total of 12 guys and when you have the 2 incomplete guys, its a total of 13.
did i explain this ok?
